Design and modelling in building Acoustics
Join us for our Forum Acusticum 2025 satellite event Design and modelling in building Acoustics, organized by the EAA TC RBA Room and Building acoustics.
Date: Saturday, June 21, until Sunday, June 22, 2025, preceding the Forum Acusticum Conference (FA2025)
This event will be held in parallel to the summer school of Forum Acusticum 25.
Place: Universidad de Málaga, Spain. (https://www.uma.es/etsi-de-telecomunicacion/ )
Why attend?
This event will explore state-of-the-art modelling methods, focusing on both practical and theoretical advances in sound insulation prediction models. Topics will include prediction models for wood construction, as well as methods for assessing noise from building services and ground borne noise.
Attendees will benefit from lectures by leading researchers and practitioners, interactive case studies, and discussions on emerging research challenges.
For whom?
The target audience for this seminar includes researchers, engineers, architects and acoustic consultants who are interested in advancing their knowledge of building acoustics. The seminar is also suitable for graduate students and early-career professionals specializing in acoustics, architecture, or engineering who are looking to deepen into predictive modelling and practical sound insulation techniques.
Discover advanced modelling methods and deepen your understanding of acoustic design!
